American Rose Society names a new rose in honor of Milton S. Hershey’s 83rd birthday. It was developed by L.B. Coddington, a rose hybridiser from Murry Hill, New Jersey. The new rose is a hybrid tea rose with a long, pointed bud, double-flowered, high centered, moderately fragrant and velvety crimson-red in color.
