Hershey Foods Corporation signs a joint venture agreement with Fujiya Co., Ltd. of Tokyo, Japan to establish a new confectionery company. Named Hershey Japan Co. Ltd., the company is headquartered in Japan and markets, sells and distributes Hershey’s chocolate and confectionery products in the Japanese market.
