Hershey Canada, Inc. and the Canadian Niagara Entertainment Group open the Hershey Store in Niagara Falls, Canada. Located on Falls Avenue, near the Rainbow Bridge, the store is the first of its kind in North America. The store sells Hershey products, milkshakes, chocolate-dipped fruit, cookies, and a variety of souvenir items. The store also includes a nostalgia section featuring  the history of chocolate making and the Hershey company.
