The ECE Initiative will improve school readiness for economically disadvantaged and at-risk children from birth to age 5, while also providing support services to families of enrolled children. The Centers will operate through subsidiaries of Milton Hershey School. The initial investment of $350 million will fund the construction and operation for up to six Early Childhood Resource Centers over approximately six years. The first ECRC will be built on the Milton Hershey School campus.
