Hershey Foods begins final implementation of its new ERP [Enterprise Resource Planning] system, an enterprise-wide information system to provide real time production and sales information. The system is developed by SAP AG. with companion modules from Manugistics and Siebel. Implementation is severely hampered by software failures.
