Hershey hosts the 2012-2013 AHL Capital Blue Cross Outdoor Classic hockey game. An outdoor ice rink is set up in the Hersheypark Stadium. Wilkes-Barre/Scranton Penguins defeat the Hershey Bears 2-1.  In addition to the AHL game, the rink is used for public skating and amateur hockey games through January 27.
