The holiday season is here – cold weather, Christmas trees and lots of beautiful lights wherever you turn! The same can be said for Christmas Candylane at Hersheypark! First introduced as a way to expand the Park’s season beyond summer, the goal was to create a European style Christmas village with strolling carolers, story tellers, and appearances from the Furry Tales. Local choirs would perform and the food was geared toward breads, pastries, and candies as opposed to meals. This experience launched November 25, 1983 and has continued ever since and is now part of a community wide Christmas celebration in Hershey!
